Abstract:  This report provides an in-depth analysis of inventory management practices in the agriculture and hotel/tourism industries across China, the United States, and Japan. The research finds that agricultural inventory management exhibits significant seasonal characteristics and perishability, while the hotel/tourism sector focuses more on efficient allocation of service resources. Value Driver Analysis reveals significant differences in how inventory turnover affects supply chain stability and customer satisfaction. Case studies of Beidahuang Group, Archer Daniels Midland, Marubeni Corporation, Jinjiang International, Marriott International, and Hoshino Resorts illuminate the distinct characteristics of inventory management in primary industries versus service sectors.
